Career Development Network

If you are an out-of-work financial professional living in Connecticut, you may qualify for a National Emergency Grant (NEG). The Federal NEG program is designed to help the former employees of over 40 financial service businesses who were dislocated as a result of the mass layoffs in 2008.

Services offered by the National Emergency Grant include career counseling and training services to assist in finding a new job or to change careers.

Only individuals who have been laid off from a specific list of financial services companies are eligible to receive NEG benefits.  Click here to determine if your former employer is on the list.
