Get recognized! Healthy Workplace Employer Recognition Program

Get recognized! The Healthy Workplace Employer Recognition Program has become the premiere award in Connecticut, recognizing the outstanding achievements of businesses and organizations in implementing employee health and wellness programs.

Now in its tenth year, the program will highlight employers’ efforts to encourage healthy behaviors, enhance productivity, and ensure healthy work environments on February 14, 2018.

Healthy Workplace Employer Recognition Award

Nominated programs are reviewed by a committee of experiences professionals in a formal process using detailed criteria and standardized application materials. There are three merit categories – platinum, gold, and silver – awarded for the activities and outcomes achieved for each wellness programs. All recognized employer programs will be profiled in a resource publication published in conjunction with the event.

Healthy Workplace Innovation Award
(This is an award for employers and building managers/owners.)

The Healthy Workplace Innovation Award recognizes those who have developed and successfully implemented an innovative approach to some aspect of worksite wellness. This would demonstrate the value of creativity and flexibility in the resolution of workplace productivity and health problems. The innovative approach, method or program should be applicable to other workforces.  Applicants must represent organizations with a worksite wellness program in place for at least one year.
