Entrepreneurial companies are enjoying a renewed interest in Fairfield County because of their capacity to create jobs. Today, our area has a wealth of large businesses, yet job growth in Connecticut traditionally comes from smaller, younger, innovative Stage 2 firms. SpeedUp Fairfield County wants to see more Stage 2 companies in the region, and we have the resources to make it happen.
SpeedUp Fairfield County is an initiative of The Business Council of Fairfield County that works to build a network of resource and information delivery services to help Stage 2 companies grow their businesses in Fairfield County.*
Working with Growth Advisory Services (GAS), SpeedUp helps Stage 2 companies assess whether they are companies of moderate- or high-growth potential. Growth Advisory Services guides high growth businesses, while SpeedUp provides resources to moderate growth firms.
No matter which path Stage 2 businesses take, SpeedUp Fairfield County is committed to offering practical solutions for early stage companies with high potential for growth:
- Do you want someone to assess your early stage company, forge connections with mentors and service providers, or point you toward access to angel investors and venture capitalists?
- Do you want to connect with area colleges and universities for research projects or interns?
- Do you want assistance sorting through the many federal and state grant, loan, and technical assistance programs that may be available to your company?
If so, register now with CTNEXT and start on the path to realizing your company’s full growth potential!
